Assistant Barrack Commander – Detective Sergeant assumes all duties and responsibilities associated with the position of Barrack Commander in their absence. Aware of the health and welfare of employees under their command and serve as the point of contact for all media inquiries involving the Barrack.Appointed by the Commander as the custodial officer for all property and evidence. Maintains the Barrack Property Control book, ensures all property and evidence is properly packaged, labeled, and identifies evidence for analysis by the Forensic Sciences Division. Conducts quarterly property room inventories and dispose of property and evidence as required by MSP policy.
