Already as a kid I was passionate about biology. Back then my main focus was dinosaurs and catching bugs in the deserts of El Paso.Growing older, I traded my hunting grounds for a degree in molecular biology, followed by a PhD in molecular medicine.My driver was, and still is, the will to help patients get the treatments our current understanding of biology can offer them. This was my focus during my time as a scientist and it is my focus now, that I am part of the biopharmaceutical industry.
