I am the site manager of the Trento Proton Therapy Center on behalf of the Belgian multinational leader in the field of proton applications, Ion Beam Applications S.A. (IBA): specifically I deal with the management of the contract in place with the public administration representing the IBA company as head of the joint venture.I am also the delegate of the Italian IBA branch which counts 15 people and is currently expanding: I am therefore obliged to manage all aspects of the local unit including economic, administrative, legal, radiation protection and safety.

For more than three years I managed the building and the technical plants of the Proton Therapy Center for the IBA’s ATI partner, touching almost all of the current management areas even if in a more limited way as regards size and complexity and coordinating a working group of 7 people. Specifically, I played the role of contract manager, ranging from technical aspects to managerial and administrative aspects of various kinds.

I carried out, apart from my main work task, the activity of the energy certifier in the Province of Trento, since I am on the Register of energy certifiers.

I played the role of assistant site manager for the construction of the Proton Therapy Center of Trento; the amount of the contract has been about 106 million euro. I have dealt with management, organization and conduction of the construction site, quality of products and processing stages and detail design.
