Worked year round, my duties changed depending on what season it was. Summers and spring consisted of maintaining the city pool along with indoor soccer and lacrosse, while fall and winters were focused on hockey and figure skating. I had to maintain the facilities which meant vacuuming the pool, cleaning the pool deck, keeping the indoor turf/ice rink clean and also removing snow buildup on sidewalks and crosswalks.

Prepared & maintained 8 baseball fields and 6 multi purpose fields (soccer, football, & lacrosse). Also cut grass and did landscaping work for 7 parks throughout the city. Used multiple high powered tools and heavy machinery on a daily basis. Was trusted to drive state licensed vehicles.

Supervised fellow employees to ensure they carried out their duties while on the clock. Monitored all transactions during my shift, including opening and closing multiple cash registers. Was the direct point of contact if a patron had any questions or problems. Learned how to drive the Olympia ice resurfacer.

As an RA there were many different areas you had to be proficient in, which include working in the Pro Shop, Skate Room, and Concession Stand. All RA's must be FirstAid and CPR certified as well.

Only seasonal work during the December holiday rush. For 3 years I'd start the Monday after Thanksgiving and work until Christmas Eve. I had to check to see if the address on the package matched the address on the location, then run the package to the desired destination.
