Graduated in August 2020 from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. I worked at Teledyne Storm Microwave for 6 years as a machinist in the tool room before deciding to finish my engineering degree. In the tool room I would work with the design and manufacturing engineering departments to build prototype tooling and machines. I also worked with the production floor to help them maintain on time deliveries and diagnose problems with tooling and machines. My senior design project at NIU was to design and fabricate an automated assembly line machine for Android Industries. For this project I worked with my group members and Android Industries engineering department to design the most efficient assembly line machine possible and taught my group members how to machine the components of the machine. Because of my previous work experience at Teledyne as a machinist in a model shop building prototypes and custom tooling I was able to ensure the design was manufacture and was delivered early.
