Anthony Mining is a private Canadian junior mineral exploration and development company, with its principal asset in Apurímac, Perú. The Chacapampa Project is now an 6,500 Ha. area, in its initial phase of mineral deposit confirmation drilling, with gold, silver, copper and manganese as its principal recoverable resources. Along with Tim Shearcroft, President, I was originally responsible for structuring the development of the Chacapampa Project, growth of the asset, and day-to-day operation of the company as a whole. I reported directly to Mr. Shearcroft and the rest of the Board, and was generally responsible for all aspects of our approximately 20 service providers -- from geologists, to accountants, lawyers, community/social relations professionals, and various others.Aligned (since 2016) with a significant benefactor through a structured Option Agreement, the Project entered its mineral quantification and extraction feasibility phase. With this, I took a step back from Management, and continued my on-going involvement limited to solely the corporate secretarial affairs of the Canadian parent company. In May, 2023, I agreed to formally leave Management and assume a position on the Board in place of a retiring Director.As always, we are proud to be one of the few growing companies in an ever difficult mining industry, and a leader amongst progressive junior mining companies in Perú.

Organo Gold is a global D2C conglomerate in the FMCG space, that markets healthy ganoderma-infused beverages [Organo], health supplements [Organika] and other nutraceuticals & healthy-lifestyle products [BeU] to over 50 nations world-wide, across five continents -- (47 sub-cos & 6 affiliate cos). I led the Legal Department (7 direct & 2 indirect reports) which was responsible for a myriad of legal issues that arose daily -- from providing input on / directing: commercial transactions, corporate governance, litigation / dispute resolution, privacy regulation & oversight, distributor relations, regulatory compliance, legal clearances, intellectual property management & enforcement, and, human resource management; to managing / directing external counsel, and simply ensuring all levels of management and administration (domestic and regional) were cognizant of on-going developments which could effect over-all organizational structure and growth.Legal transactional work covered all five regions / continents [N.Am., Lat.Am, EU, ME-A., & AsiaPac.], with significant legal and regulatory work before judicial and administrative tribunals -- including: USIPO, multiple US Fed. Distr. Cts, 5th & 9th App. Circuits [USA]; BCSC, BCCA, CIPO [Canada]; Malaysia High Court of Justice; HK CFA [PRC]; SIC [Colombia]; EDRIC [Ecuador]; INDECOPI [Peru]; NCC & Netherlands High Court; and, EUIPO [EU].Following an 18-month reorganization and change of control, I handed over the controls of legal functions to new management, remaining with them as an external legal resource until December, 2021.

Boardwalk Business Developments (through their subsidiaries Devlyn e-architects and Sync2 Agency) was a well-financed private electronic software and applications development company with a host of gaming patents & licenses, which also worked-on / developed specific custom-build projects and multi-purpose applications for third parties (gaming, telecom, virtual reality, and e-commerce). I was the initial in-house Corporate Counsel, which structured the organization and its early M&A. The company has since divested the majority of its assets and dissipated the proceeds following the parting of ways of its principals (management) and financiers (controlling interests).

Lic. Patrick T. Miranda, Barrister, Solicitor, Notary, was a Vancouver, British Columbia based law practice, focused 50-50 on litigation (predominantly civil / commercial, with some white-collar criminal defense work as well) and the corresponding commercial solicitor's work and real estate (both development applications and residential conveyancing). Given the increasing demands of my commercial clients throughout my tenure in British Columbia, I naturally migrated toward servicing fewer and fewer commercial clients, and, less litigation, ultimately accepting a position In-House from one of them in 2009.

MCM Law was a boutique Criminal Defense law practice bourne out of the two principal Criminal Defense lawyers of Chadi and Company and their primary Appellate Counsel. Along with an Articling Student, the three trial lawyers offered a full-service Criminal Defense practice to individuals accross Western Canada -- from initial representation at judicial interim release hearings, to trials of all complexities (including numerous RCMP Special Project Investigations & DOJ Prosecutions), to Appeals at all levels (including before five different Provincial Courts of Appeal and the SCC). The Partnership was dissolved upon my relocation to the Province of British Columbia, resulting in four independent cooperative law offices -- Chadi & Company, Moreau & Company, Lic. Patrick T. Miranda Barrister, Solicitor, Notary, and, Karout Law (subsequently reduced to three in 2009, when I made the move In-House).

Chadi & Company is a boutique litigation firm (22 lawyers) in Western Canada focussing on civil litigation and criminal defense work and the provision of ancillary commercial solicitor (legal) services. I articled directly under Jake Chadi, and developed a practice which was 50% Criminal Defense work, 30% Civil Litigation and 20% Solicitor's work, becoming the de facto managing associate of the Criminal Defense practice, and, mentoring the firm's subsequent Articling Students. In my penultimate year, the firm opted to segregate the Criminal Defense portion of the practice into a separate (related) firm, MCM Law Barristers, of which I was a Minority (co-Managing) Partner. During my time at Chadi & Co., I appeared before all levels of the judiciary (Civil and Criminal), and Administrative Tribunals throughout Western Canada (Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Alberta & British Columbia), and participated in a Criminal Appeal (writing and editing the Legal Brief) before the SCC.
