As a Principal, I am part of the Working Capital Solutions team at Export Development Canada (EDC). After serving small and medium-sized companies for about three years in a similar role, my work now focuses on assisting large corporations across Canada and their interests abroad. The different financial solutions I offer are in partnership with financial institutions and help companies free up their working capital when issuing letters of guarantee (or bonds). EDC’s Account Performance Security Guarantee (APSG) serves as collateral security by offering the financial institution with a 100% guarantee from AAA-rated EDC. With our solutions, companies’ working capital remains available and can be utilized to grow the business further. The main sector I cover is the renewable energy.Prior to the role described above, I met with the top management of select Canadian companies to deliver Supply Chain diagnostics. I led that program which aimed at enhancing the operational efficiency of Canadian exporters by identifying opportunities for improvement and by sharing industry best practices.Prior to that, I was a key contributor in the development and the delivery of a Trade Advisory Service which offers guidance to Canadian exporters on various trade-related topics. I am bilingual (English/French) and own an MBA from McGill University.
