CurrentRoles and responsibilities: - Manage on average 8-10 large national projects from demand intake through execution, collaborating closely with customer and various teams including HCL network data & security, enterprise compute, end user engineering, telecom, and field services tower leads.Key Impacts:- Define project scope, present hours and dollars effort estimates, draft statements of work, manage day-to-day execution, and gather burndown reports- Meet with senior customer infrastructure executive management to review pain points and discuss process improvements- Meet with customer infrastructure architecture leads to discuss high- and low-level design documentation processes- Mentor and coach 5-7 junior project managers Among the most rewarding aspects of the role has been taking on project management responsibilities for several troubled projects and successfully guiding them back to green status. Notable projects include:- Desktop Modernization Management: Replacing legacy desktop and laptop imaging and software deployment infrastructure using SCCM, Autopilot, Adaptiva, and Intune, resulting in a more efficient and effective system.- Extreme Core / ToR Switch Upgrade: Upgrading software/firmware for 6000+ switches to the current gold standard, a complex and challenging project that was successfully completed through team dedication and collaboration.
