Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Executive Director and Controller (EDC) is a leader in defining critical pieces of the financial strategy. He is also responsible for oversight of all accounting and financial reporting activities. The EDC is involved in supporting presentations to the board finance and audit committee and works closely with the senior management team in terms of providing and ensuring accurate financial data. The EDC leads all day-to-day accounting operations and supervise a team of staff members including functional responsibility over accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, audit and the related reporting.

Managing a budget of $50M and overseeing seven branch offices through out Africa and Asia. Accountable for strategic planning, development and leadership of entire finance function as well as the day-day operations management.• Provide leadership and direction on annual financial and strategic plan and supervise annual budget planning process for entire organization• Oversee the approval and processing of restricted and unrestricted revenue , expenditures, internal controls, departmental budgets and other account maintenance and reporting activities• Prepare and present quarterly reports to the Board of Directors.• Develop and present all financial reports to public and private donors, including foreign and domestic governments, corporations and foundations.• Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders including, external auditors, financial institutes and private donors.• Designed and implemented global management and operating procedures for all agency accounts, including bank reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, asset management, payroll, field advances, draw-downs from line of credit and reimbursements from donors as well as all other account reporting services.• Defined and implemented standardized network policies for reconciliation of inter-agency financial transactions in order to allow better visibility to maintain accurate and consistent administration of all programs globally.
