• Act as the sole decision-maker for team with regard to all Union matters.• Understand fully and completely the rules contained in the Collective Bargaining Agreement(“CBA”) and its subsidiary documents.• Communicate league rules simply and clearly to teammates, technical staff and other management.• Educate teammates, especially young players, regarding the purpose and role of the Union.• Ensure that the rules and regulations in the CBA are complied with by your team.• Provide teammates with regular updates about what is happening with the Union, seek theirfeedback and share that feedback with the Union staff.• Encourage teammates to communicate directly with the Union staff as much as possible.
