As a program facilitator, I worked directly with clients to assess their communication and leadership styles in high pressure situations. Our focus was on team development as well as individual leadership within that team. The ropes course functioned as an environment where our clients could experience, analyze and reflect upon their behavior in a simulated high pressure situation. Our goal with every client was to identify areas of improvement for their teams, identifying sticking points and suggesting of-the-moment implementable solutions helping them to function more smoothly. As a facilitator, it was imperative that I create a space where individuals felt they could address professional and personal difficulties. Our clients range from corporate sector, to public & private schools (all grades).Often our company will take groups on week long retreats where we could dig deeper and track progress in a multitude of challenges over the course of days vs. hours. I was selected as a program lead on trips to Utah, Colorado, Big Bear, Catalina, Arizona, Sequoia National Park, New Mexico - we also ran dozens of overnight sessions at Camp Hess Kramer in Malibu in my 3 years with the company.
