DUTIES AND ACHIEVEMENTSDistributor management -Responsible for key distributor effectiveness and distributor operating standards compliance for all the distributors in the area.-Ensures the required floor stock holding is achieved and maintained, stock rotation is effected, and house-keeping at the distributor store is at top notch.-Establishes and maintain monthly review meetings with distributors with minutes and clear action points.-Responsible for distributor debt and incentives management.Sell-in management and execution-Sets and agree with the distributor on monthly, weekly and daily sell-in targets and enforce.-Establish and maintain a system at each distributor store that ensures readiness and smooth clearance for every order placed.Sell-out management and execution-Ensures all established market and sales routines are applied per excellence to tap into daily opportunities in the market.-Drives outlet by outlet focused selling to ensure a continuous flow of products from the plant to the consumer by distributor salesmen.-Monitors and drive corrective actions on Salesmen route truck loading, route coverage, route completion, order generation and success rate.Market share growth and protection-Ensures creation of new outlets(Distribution width).-Achieve numeric distribution standards in the sales area( Depth).-Proposes initiatives aimed at protecting market share in the sales area.HR Management-Coach and manage Distibutor Sales Representatives and Van Salesmen.-Ensures route design and mapping is optimized at all times and work with the Distributors to ensure timely resourcing for growth and expansion.Reporting-Prepares and forwards to the regional sales manager regular sales reports also not limited toDaily sellout report, Weekly sell-in report per distributor.Weekly competitor activity report.Weekly distributor investment report.-I successfully improved Sales Volume of Golden Africa to an average of 700Mts in South Rift.-I secured Golden Africa company's credit facility and managed a 15M bank guarantee for one of the customer.-I successfully established and evaluated the distribution gaps in Transnzoia and developed the volume for my hub from 150Mts to 333Mts as the highest ever, I also facilitated and increased the sales volume of stockiest from 45Mts to 145Mts.-I upgraded two Bungoma wholesalers to BIDCO stockiest and was selling an average of 45mts monthly.
