Patrick joined BDO in September 2024 in the role as a Director of International Tax Zurich.Patrick is mainly dealing with corporate taxation as well as national and international tax planning. His expertise includes advising in all tax areas on M&A transactions, financing, restructuring and tax compliance. He also assists in matters of Pillar 2 / BEPS (technical questions and implementation) and provides tax accounting advice for year end audits and restructurings.

Efficient operation and integration of the new Advanced Sterilization Products (ASP) business which is expected to trade in over 60 jurisdictions, was acquired from Johnson & Johnson in April 2019 and is lead out of Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Designing and ensuring the tax efficient running of ASP’s holding and financing structure and the supply chain through the Swiss principal company. Fortive’s tax partner for the ASP business and finance teams. This does include the implementation and management of the global income tax compliance and tax accounting process and the implementation of tax planning strategies globally. Overall responsibility of all income tax matters in the EMEA region and also for APAC partially (tax planning, compliance, transfer pricing and tax audits);Serve as primary point of contact to tax authorities and handling of all tax audits within the EMEA region;Coordination and support of transfer pricing work globally, including BEPS, Country by Country Reporting and global documentation efforts.
