U.S.A is a data collection company that focuses on life cycle management of the Utility Grids. We use innovative methods to gather large amounts of data which we condense into a format that the client can easily comprehend. The utility grids of America are vast and complex and difficult to manage. U.S.A. solves that issue via innovative solutions enabling us to efficiently execute any task.

As the Head of Electrical Engineering within Manufacturing Engineering, I am responsible for managing procurement, quality management, incoming goods inspections, manufacturing work instructions, development and test programs for batteries, hazardous area computers, cables and various ATEX and C1D2 oil well construction tools. I also have responsibility of initiating engineering change notices and documenting, tracking and resolving product failures.

While working at General Atomics Electro Magnetic Systems I was responsible for making design improvements and maintaining EMALS(Electro Magnetic Aircraft Launch System) and AAG(Advance Arresting Gear) used on the Aircraft Carriers for the US Navy. In this process I would receive a Quality Notice from manufacturing, upon assessing the issue I would draft an extensive Change Report describing the cause and solution. The Change Report would drive the change process forward to be Completed by a Engineering Change Notice. ECNs involve processing the resolution on the drawing level. All ECN changes must be scrutinized by a review board(Change Management). ECNs that affected Form, Fit and Function had to be presented to the Navy for approval. A cube satellite team at ULL where we are currently working on our third satellite. I had the pleasure of working this project along with my colleges and their satellite subsystems. I worked on the optics subsystem and for my senior design I worked on the power system and systems integration of the cube satellite. More information is available at www.ulcape.org

While working here I worked with shop technicians to interpret and build from schematics provided by senior engineers. I on the electrical engineering side I manufactured the numerous life support and communications equipment used in the Saturation diving industry. I also had the chance to work on some mechanical engineering projects which gave me exposure to working with metal. I learned as an Engineer it is always important to take into consideration the people who will be viewing and building from your schematics, with that being said by having a clear and the most simplistic design possible will ensure efficiency during manufacturing and possible repair, which means happy technicians. My first internship which was mostly computer science based. This internship gave me exposure to business aspect of software as well as the teamwork side coding, by working with multiple programmers to complete a project.
