I am a painter, curator, and arts writer based in New York City. I was a 2018 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellow in Painting and have written numerous articles and reviews for Hyperallergic and Two Coats of Paint as well as catalog essays. My 2022 solo exhibition, "Ephemeral Triggers", at The Hotel Belmar in Monteverde, Costa Rica was the culmination of a research-based residency in that country. Stateside, another solo show, "Anonymous Oasis", was on view at Joyce Goldstein Gallery in Chatham, New York during October-November 2023. I am the co-host of Show&Tell a new series where artist present their work to the public.I am also an experienced Art Director with a demonstrated history of working in the beauty industry. As a design professional, I’m skilled in photography, advertising, typography, and have a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) focused in Painting/Printmaking from Yale University. As an Art Director for the past 17 years, I have worked on all manner of collateral developing print and digital materials that cover a vast range in scale, style and shape. I have designed lengthy appointment books, manuals, toolkits, shade charts, sample cards and letters. Other projects have included novelty and operational calendars, contracts, forms and a variety of seasonal and themed sales flyers. My early years as a graphic designer allowed me to gain newspaper experience designing ads, classifieds and page layout.
