Strength and conditioning coordinator for six DFW/East Texas high schools while assisting at a number of others. Duties include creating and implementing developmentally appropriate strength and conditioning programs for a wide variety of sports. Selected as a member of the Performance Course presentation team. Duties of this internal position include but are not limited to personal one on one meetings with head coaches and large scale presentations to athletes and/or parental guardians. Program designed for the off-season football team, in-season women’s soccer, post-season coed track and field, and pre-season coed swim and dive team. Responsible for the set up and break down of all performance equipment. Duties included putting athletes through their respective team’s warm up as well as individual training to those who needed more specific programming. Worked closely with Director of Sports Nutrition in body composition management through means of meal planning and utilization of duel-energy x-ray absorptiometry. Attended weekly educational seminars ranging from the discussion of seasonal program design to the essentials of obtaining a CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist) certification. All seminars were administered by Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning, Dr. Bryan Mann.
