Hired as an Architectural Designer and promoted to Associate in January 2016. Responsible for numerous projects simultaneously- from concept/ programming to bid/ construction- with a focus on urban adaptive re-use and new construction for facilities throughout Central Pennsylvania and Maryland. Have gained a wide variety of design experience collaborating with M&D's Principals/ Architects, interior designers, engineering consultants, contractors, and clients for several high profile commissions. Delivered Construction Documents using BIM software through Revit model sharing on multiple projects. Prepared presentation documents for proposals, marketing, historic architecture preservation review boards, and awards submissions. Contributed to several award winning projects. Heavily involved in conceptual design for clients and RFPs, and have developed renderings that helped M&D earn commissions and get projects off the ground.

Acted as primary concept designer for Neel-Schaffer Inc. and the city of Vero Beach, Florida on several proposals and projects such as: a municipal building proposal for a "Working Waterfront" visitors center, a proposal for a weapons manufacturer's office and warehouse building at the Sebastian Municipal Airport, and several street-scape beautification redevelopment projects in the city of Sebastian, FL- some of which have since been built. Provided marketing and schematic drawings through 3-D model renderings.

Responsibilities included developing time sensitive schematic design presentations, preparing construction documents and conducting client/ contractor meetings.

Gained a wide range of experience in this small, team oriented firm. Assisted in all phases of the design and planning process for residential, commercial, and public projects. Created marketing collateral, developed presentations and documents for clients and for advertising, carried out general office maintenance tasks including ordering supplies, contacting vendors to create material mockups, and orchestrated the aid of outside consultants on various projects.
