The Regional Manager is primarily responsible for identifying potential risks and develop the risk control system to help eliminate them. OPERATIONS 1. Monitor compliance to operational, safety, or inventory control procedures, including physical security standards 2. Perform client basic risk assessment to identify basic significant risks or exposure related to internal controls or compliance. Develop quarterly risk-based Loss control plan for management review and approval and oversee the implementation of the approved plan. 3. Perform or direct inventory investigations in response to shrink results outside of acceptable ranges 4. Investigate or interview individuals suspected of shoplifting or internal theft. 5. Train loss prevention staff, retail managers, or store employees on loss control and prevention measures. 6. Analyze retail data to identify current or emerging trends in theft or fraud and Analyze forecasting data to improve business decisions. 7. Advise retail managers on compliance with applicable codes, laws, regulations, or standards. 8. Ensure branches comply with safety, hygiene and sanitation standards. PEOPLE 1. Grow the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity in the areas of information flow, business processes, enhanced management reporting. 2. Ensure thorough operations onboarding of new staff per set schedule. 3. Provide supervision for loss control staff 4. Identifying the developmental needs of loss control staff and advising management on development of learning content to meet those needs. 5. Coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping the loss control staff to improve their knowledge or skills. 6. Conducting appraisals and performance reviews. 7. Ensure adequate and on time filling of health check sheets for all staff. 8. Escalating weekly reports and special reports to Client.
