Generate, transmit, and follow-up on Purchase Orders for 4 plants in U.S. and Mexico.Solicit quotes, negotiate cost and terms of payment for purchased items. Help incorporate the new suppliers from the purchase of 2 companies into the Harris Products Group partnership.Through the use of SAP, manage inventory, determine demand, monitor safety stocks and track lead times and on time delivery.

 Generate, transmit, and follow-up on all Purchase Orders for 3 divisions at the Kettering facility. Solicit quotes, negotiate cost and terms of payment for purchasing assets, tooling, raw material, general items and needed services.  Create and set up processes and provide the tools necessary for associates to request needed materials and services. Develop and maintain relationships with Division and Department heads, associates, suppliers, and vendors. Monitor and evaluate supplier and vendor performances. Track spending and on-time delivery to send out quarterly Report Cards to all critical suppliers.  Manage the Tool Crib and staff using JobBoss and MSC’s vending system to ensuring the divisions have the items they need while keeping the lowest inventory on-hand.

 Monitor customer portals to track customer demand of their products. Works closely with Manufacturing, Sales and Quality to meet customer demand. Determine raw material and assembly component needs, order material, monitor deliveries as well as track and maintain inventory.  Solicit quotes for outside services, generate Purchase Orders and monitor delivery schedules. Manage day to day operations of the Shipping and Receiving department. Daily use of JobBoss, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
