Eight week internship working with billing systems for Inovalons Star Advantage product. The billing system is complex and has multiple sources of data that it pulls from. The previous invoice system was part automated and part manual data input. Using Excel I created a workbook that cross referenced all previous data and new data to analize each product usage for each client. Billing is done on a monthly basis, but some products roll over month to month. I generated a system that analyized all necassary data and created invoices automatically when new data was recieved for each client.

Four week internship working with data analysis in Excel and Acess. Each month every contract requires interim reports that were created manually for each client. I created a workbook in excel to consolidate all new data from all clients. Using specific algarithims and formulas I created a sytem that filtered all the data in to client specific data reports with full analysis. This process took one full work week prior to my workbook. I saved the company time and money allowing all the the clients reports to be generated within hours.

Eight week internship working in excel and access on a cost analysis for a new product launch. Collected, gathered, and estimated (using formulas and educated reasoning) all costs for a new product launch. Including shipping, warranties, labor, maintinence, and all other costs associated with the project. This analysis was used in estimating the total cost of the product and helping to establish a price to charge the clients. This analysis was used to sign multiple contracts for the new product.
Operations Manager
As operations manger for Equine Extravaganza I was responsible for making sure day-to-day operations went smoothly during the Event. The event is a three day long Expo for horses and the horse industry. I managed employees and volunteers, to ensure each job was being completed with accuracy and efficiency. For any big event with 8,000+ attendees, 200 vendors, 50 clinicians, 100 horses, dozens of volunteers and multiple employees, there are many challenges and responsibilities I faced. Ensure the perimeter is locked down so no one can sneak in, make sure all dangerous areas (working with 2,000 lb animals) are secured and clearly marked for liability purposes, manage parking logistics, ensure ticket booth is operating at full capacity, ensure employees/volunteers are given the tools and knowledge they require, and anything else that needed to be done on show day for the operation of the show. As operations manger I was a "do it all" person. I set up speaker and sound systems for the arenas and fixed them when they had technical difficulties. I've even filled in for a clinic when another rider could not make it. Anything to ensure the show ran smoothly during the three days it was in action. The show was once a year for 5 years, and twice a year for the other three years.
