Currently working with McAleer & Rushe in the building sector as a Senior Site Engineer.

I have worked on various large and small civil engineering projects across England as a Project Manager and a Site Engineer. These projects entailed:- 12m x 30m deep shaft as part of the CrossRail (CRL) Project. (London - July 2013)- Two Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) projects (Cornwall & Devon, August - September 2013)- 12 number of 450mm x 20m auger bores as part of the Bond Street station upgrade for London Underground (London - October 2013)- 450mm x 30m auger bore and completion of 6m x 8m shaft (Bristol, November - December 2013)- Assistant QS in head office (Rugby – January 2014)- Construction of a junction chamber in a 4m diameter tunnel 40m down and 1 km in. (London, February-March 2014)Construction of a 9m x 21m pumping station and Valve chamber for CRL (London, April – June)-Bond Street Station Upgrade - Promoted to Project Manager for the construction of two 23m and 18m deep shafts and approximately 500m of passenger tunnels. Labour supply only but part of the one team ethic. (London, July 2014 – present)Duties and responsibilities included:-Daily management of a workforce of 120 operatives, including a team of Engineers and Admin staff.-Holding daily progress meetings and weekly planning meetings.-Single point of contact between client, main contractor and Joseph Gallagher Group.-Managing staff to ensure that all milestones are achieved within the agreed timeframes.-Setting out using a TS15, TS06 and dumpy level.-Being sole site supervisor/site agent.-Drafting of RAMS, ITP’s and MCR’s.-Procurement of materials.-Interpreting design documents.-Maintaining site safety.-Maintaining site documents.-Keeping record of site activity.

Worked on an Olympic size swimming pool as a student engineer in Dublin City. Duties and responsibilities included: Assisted senior engineers, setting out using a TS06 and dumpy level, managed/co-ordinated sub-contractors, maintained site safety, interpreted design documents and regularly used AutoCAD
