Contributing weekly articles on the beautiful game, I'm currently focusing on long-form writing for RDM.Currently researching and writing a series of nostalgic articles reliving some of the finer moments of the Premier League.

- Subbing sport stories for the Evening Herald in Dublin.- Taking charge of a 24-page farming supplement for the Irish Independent (Farming Independent). This includes designing and laying out the pages and ensuring the subbing is completed with colleagues' assistance

I worked as a flash quote reporter for the Paralympic Games in the Paralympic News Service.My role was based at the Basketball Arena, taking quotes from athletes and coaches after wheelchair basketball and wheelchair rugby matches.

- Was the lead reporter on the sports desk, assuming editorial responsibility for five sports pages every week.- I was the paper's Olympic correspondent, setting up an Olympic diary and covering most Olympic-related articles, from Cumbria's London 2012 hopefuls to torch relay news and cultural updates.- As well as reporting on the two main teams in Kendal - Kendal RUFC and Kendal Town FC - I provided comprehensive coverage of grassroots sports, including cricket, hockey, tennis, swimming, fell running, angling and martial arts.- I proof read sports pages and liaised with other departments to maximise coverage of sporting events, while also uploading copy, pictures and videos to the paper's website.- I was also assistant editor for a free 20-page weekly paper, The South Lakes Citizen.

- Responsible for one of several departments for the company. Tasks including managing staff, ensuring stock replenishment and ordering new stock, while making sure key items were well promoted.- Worked my way up from a weekend till operative in December 2004 to full time supervisor in July 2006. I was later appointed to the trainee manager position.
