As a software engineer at Trinity Logistics, I've gotten the opportunity to focus on code craftsmanship, not only rounding out the Java fundamentals that I acquired at J.B. Hunt but expanding my knowledge of Angular and Python. As part of a small team developing a custom TMS with support for tracking and reporting I've become familiar with the suite of tools offered by AWS, and I've learned how to manipulate those tools through Terraform configurations. Overall, I would say that I've grown comfortable touching any part of the solution stack.

After transitioning to a full-time position at J.B. Hunt I worked with the ICS Startup and ICS Rapid Response teams. My responsibilities included working with clients to secure their data and process it as necessary. I supported and worked to modernize a number of legacy applications related to that process. Most relied on Java, but we also had applications written in C#.NET and VB.NET which I worked with on an irregular basis. I became very familiar with Docker and Kubernetes, and I also began to learn Angular JavaScript.

While an intern at J.B. Hunt I was on the Shipper 360 team, aiding in the development of new features for our clients. This allowed me to hone my understanding of Java, particularly Spring-based application development.
