My work experience involved statistical analysis of reliability testing and ensuring the quality of the data from those tests. Typical analysis used Minitab or Design of Experiment software to prove significant differences in the data. The data was compiled in reports that I would then give to either outside customers, or internally to our R&D scientists. Additionally, I developed new methods and fabricated specialized instrumentation to perform new tests for unique customer applications. In an effort to advance my career to higher positions, I obtained my doctorate in chemical engineering. My experience at WPI as a graduate student was focused on developing methods to predict the activity of catalysts based on molecular modeling data for fuel cell applications.
