As the English Ministry Pastor, my goal was to establish a community and oversee the steady growth of our members from Grade 7 to University young adults. Through various study programs and activities we focused to promote personal growth, benevolent hearts, and leadership. To achieve our program goals, I aimed to create community volunteer programs, sports camps, fundraising campaigns for our outreach programs and outdoor camps, and weekly educational programs to provide our members with opportunities to deepen their faith. Additionally, I also focused on building up a leadership team within our ministry to work together with other departments within the church to implement our overall church goals. Some of our highlights were developing an ongoing relationship with aboriginal/native reserves and providing community services. We also had the opportunity to build homes and make building improvements in Transkei, South Africa. Additionally, in my role, I was responsible for creating and overseeing the English Ministry’s annual budget and to communicate effectively with parents and the senior pastors within the church to create synergy and co-ordinate together to achieve the overall goals as a church.

As the supervisor of the Automotive Audio/Video department, my goals were to ensure the flow of operations within our department and to promote the growth of the department staff. I accomplished this by developing a deeper relationship with the team beyond the sales goals and tasks to communicate challenges and successes they had during each week. We discussed positioning advice and opportunities to meet the needs of our clients and deepen the knowledge of each individual team members to create an experience that is beyond our clients initial expectations. We also created weekly incentive challenges and outings to create a positive work environment and synergy. This led us to creating a more positive experience for the clients and greater results in customer loyalty.
