My research focuses on Corporate Biodiversity Decision-Making

– Act as a key liaison between postgraduate research (PGR) students, the Doctoral College, and the leadership of the Business School, ensuring effective communication and representation of student concerns.– Provide guidance and support to PGR students, directing them to appropriate resources and support systems for addressing supervision challenges and academic issues.– Collaborate with the Doctoral College and Business School leadership to organize and promote research seminars, workshops, and development programs aimed at enhancing research skills and academic networking for PGR students.– Advocate for PGR students’ access to essential resources and facilities, such as library services, research funding opportunities, and academic tools, ensuring a supportive environment for successful academic progression.– Facilitate feedback from the PGR community and contribute to policy discussions aimed at improving the overall research experience within the Business School.– Promote a positive and inclusive research culture by encouraging interdisciplinary collaboration and fostering opportunities for student engagement in academic and social activities.

- Contributing to the development of a nature champions toolbox for managerial decision making in business.

– Facilitating group activity and supervising students involved in grand challenges throughout the week.– Supporting students to work in a ‘research like’ way, making sure students understand theevidence-based approach.– Ensuring that an enquiry-based learning approach is adopted in the Challenge activities.– Supporting Student Programme Assistants in ensuring that correct administration isperformed (e.g. registers taken; resources required available, consent forms signed, riskassessments done etc.).–Ensuring that the group is prepared to present outputs at the end of Challenge week.

To consider and propose models for the academic year that:- Reduce peaks and troughs in marking and assessment load- Optimise the use of the estate, and create more parity between non-standard and standard programmes- Allow for blended and multi-modal study, address timetabling issues, increase effectiveness of deliveryand/or support student recruitment, attainment and progression.

- In charge of annual and quarterly financial reporting- Preparation of vouchers for staff claims, service and purchase bills.- Vet and pass journal vouchers, cast and analyse staff claims.- Reconcile bank statements with cash books.- Monitor customer cash and cheque deposits at the banks and cash payments made directly to district cashiers- Evaluation and report on physical risks- Research and recommend financing options for supply chain products including efficient technologies for water treatment and production to avoid stranded assets
