I started as an Associate Professor and over the years have been promoted to full Professor. I have taught in several programs mainly in information systems, networking, and security. I have also served in may governance roles including Chair of the Faculty Senate, Chair of Faculty Evaluation and Curriculum evaluations committees. I also Chair the Asynchronous Initiative Taskforce on online delivery of instruction. For three years I was Chair of the Faculty Representatives to the contract negotiations process.

While at Menlo we avoided Y2K problems by rebuilding the Student Information system, the server room, and the email system. The next year we built 23 wiring closets and eia568 network, gigabit ethernet and ip telephony.
