Construction of new dual 2,3 and 4 lane motorway. Includes the construction and improvements of structures, major railway bridges and motorway crossing of the North Calder Water and construction of pedestrian/ cycle paths and access roads. A8 Dual Carriageway Belfast - Larne

Client: Department for Regional Development Roads Service Contract Value: £250 million The A8 to Larne improvement scheme upgraded 14.4km of existing A8 to Dual carriageway. Also included a major new roundabout and a number of compact grade-separated junctions and bridges. The A8 links Belfast with the Port of Larne, the second largest port in Northern Ireland. Client: Northern Ireland Water Contract Value: £32 million Integrated Waste Water Framework. Duke Street - Provided flood alleviation, upgrading localised pipe work. Construction of new CSO Structures and pipelines by way of trenchless technology. Culmore WwTW - Construction of new inlet roughing screens, chamber and wash water facilities, provision of scum removal systems to the final settlement tanks. Dbfo2 Scheme 2 & 3

Client: Department for Regional Development Roads Service Contract Value: £250 million Scheme 2: Provision of four grade-separated junctions, two over bridges and two underpasses. Service diversions on both the A1 and side roads. In addition, the junction improvements required the upgrading of existing drainage, surfacing, street lighting, signing, fencing and footways.Scheme 3: Realignment and upgrading to Dual 2 Lane All Purpose (D2AP) carriageway of the A4 between Dungannon and Ballygawley. Approximately 20.5km of dual carriageway that included the provision of six grade separated junctions and the construction of thirteen over bridges and six underpasses. Experience gained:Use of Trimble GPS, Grade and laser levels.Surveying - Cut / Fill, Topo surveys, As-builts.Setting out - Batter Rails, Profile boards, Pipe lines & Road pins.Levelling - Invert levels, Kerb lines, Finished Road Level.
