About Patrick Oppong, P.E

I am Structural design engineer with wide range of experience and high level of expertise in residential and office building complexes designs. Most of my works has cut across, apartments, offices, schools, hotels etc. I have also conducted a conceptual and detailed structural analysis and designs of reinforced concrete building structures for residential, offices and industrial buildings. Deep understanding and rigorous approach to seismic resistant design for new residential and office reinforced concrete building structures is another area of my expertise. I Have the ability to produce cost efficient structural engineering solutions while focusing on structural stability, robustness, strength and achieving high performance level. Experience in steel and reinforced concrete structures design. General responsibilities include; structural system layout planning, analysis, design and documentation. Most of my promising projects I have worked on one way or another, includes, Cal Bank Corporate Head office 14storey at the Independence avenue, Airport Marjorie apartments, Ridge towers 21storey complex, Switchback Park project 12 storey complexes and the Hilton Garden Inn 13storey hotel among others.I have great structural modelling experience and my understanding cut across different Analysis and Software packages with emphasis on Revit and Robot professional.My area of expertise include the following: • Seismic Design of buildings to Eurocode 8 and 2•
