Currently responsible for assisting government program/project managers in the execution and preparation of acquisition plans and requisite acquisition documents. Evaluating and assessing prime contractor designs, drawings, and plans (and suggesting ways to improve). Integrating and correlating program technical data with the program baselines to accurately develop, maintain, and update acquisition reports consistent with Department of Defense (DoD) applicable directives, policy, and guidance. Assessing the government’s plans against prime contractor progress, noting discrepancies, and developing solution sets.

Honeywell closed their Albuquerque site at the end of 2019. I decided to take the severance package and seek out other employment opportunities within the Albuquerque area. I had been looking for opportunities while on severance, during the COVID-19 pandemic, and while on unemployment. I also used this time to explore opportunities outside my core work experience, help with remote learning of my grandchildren, do volunteer work, catch up on reading, and take long walks.
