Responsibilities:* General day to day management of the Operations function of the business through MI and business/department procedures reporting in to the CEO.* Manage cash resources and meet technical and commercial milestones through continuous improvements and staff development.* Manage all elements of continued operational growth including strategic planning and capex.* Develop and deliver agreed targets, notably continued operational savings and sustainable revenue stream.* Develop a long term sustainable product/business strategy in line with the Boards' exit strategy.Business Improvement and cost reductions:With Improved machine throughputs ( BB600,CMC JWR&9000, PB File Base and Kern File base) through minimal Investments in selected equipment and upgrades to reduce downtime and increase productivity of 85% in my first year against forecast and again by a further 25% against forecast in my second year. I also managed a substantial headcount reductions, allowing for disciplined use of 95% of our operational schedule, time and costs facilitating the reduction of labour levels from over £1.4 million to -£1 million, and annual overtime and agency spend variances from -£140K to less than -£32K year on year.

Through a combination of cost controls, product spectrum optimisation/new product introductions, value-in-use pricing, web based technology and hard work I sold for a profit in 2013. I set this business up on my own with a very minimal budget and by the end of 2010 I had 15+ owner drivers in full time employment.
