I'm excited to have joined Corporate Governance Risk (CGR). Starting with a strong vision in 2010 this young company has developed an outstanding risk and compliance business product which is now used in over 70 countries across a wide range of private and public sector enterprises. Following Associate Partnership with Vedette through UBR Consultancy Ltd I joined Vedette full-time in January 2017. In this role, I continued to enjoy active consultancy as part of Vedette's provision of advisory services focused primarily (but not exclusively) within the Defence and Security Sector, whilst providing a range of business management support.

West Berkshire

Consultancy support to multiple defence projects included a comprehensive review of safety case regulation for a military regulator and requirements capture for a £2 billion+ communications programme. I also operated as a command and control specialist within a small team providing independent observation for Joint simulated training.

Raf Headquarters

Assurance of a safety management system controlling risk to life in support of a 2* Operating Duty Holder (ODH) accountable for all RAF air transport, search and rescue and test flight activity (~ 7000 people). Delivery of training governance and policy across this same activity.

Aghanistan

Development and delivery of Counter Narcotics policy within strategic international military HQ. Appointed on promotion (to Wing Commander rank) into an unfamiliar sector, achieved rapid understanding and positive impact in a complex and sensitive strategic stakeholder environment.

Lincolnshire

Flight Commander, and Deputy Squadron Commander, for over 300 personnel during a period of significant change involving merger of 3 departments, changes to plans and training, and 2 operational deployments. Awarded commendation for operational and leadership contribution to the ISTAR and Air-to-Air Refuelling Expeditionary Air Wing during operations over Libya.

Buckinghamshire

Developed and delivered Air HQ plans and operations functions under senior executive scrutiny and time pressure, deputising for Chief of Combat Operations. Strategic planner in US Combined Air Operations Centre and awarded 2 commendations.

Raf Waddington

Selected ahead of peers into this digital post, ensured maintenance of standards for all supervisors and controllers providing airborne tactical and air traffic services from the E-3D aircraft in the UK and worldwide.
