As of right now, I have only worked one job and that is at Rouses Markets. I worked two different positions, however, and that would be service clerk and grocery stocker. I was a service clerk when I first started in July of 2023 and I stayed in that position for a year. July 2024 is when I became a stocker. In the one year I worked, I learned communication skills and I furthered my time management ability. Working in retail has taught me that you MUST be able to work with others in order to get work done, or else it will just set you and your coworkers behind. Regardless of work drama, I always make sure whatever needs to be done is done. Even though I have little interest in working here long-term, there are plenty of career opportunities here at Rouses and a person could definitely make a decent living working here.
