Manage global relationship of Corporate Accounts such as BAE Systems, Lockheed Martin, and Boeing. Increased BAE‘s sales $257% in three years from $35M to $90M+. Increased sales by 21% year over year for my assigned accounts FY12. Attended President’s Club as Corporate Account Manager of the Year 2009.

Responsible for attaining a sales budget of $22.5M and managing a team of seven Account Managers covering key accounts in northern New England to include Bose, Teradyne, LTX, Gtech, Philips Medical, Polaroid, GE, Goodrich, and United Technologies Corp. Increased sales by 33% to $30M in less than nine months.

Responsible for attaining a sales budget of $14M and managing a team of eleven Emerging Account Managers in eight different Avnet branches on the East Coast. Consistently exceeded annual sales budget. Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, training, and managing sales trainees in their first two years as account managers. The position requires a close working relationship and coordination with the Area Directors and District Managers in both the Northeast and Southeast Regions of Avnet Electronics.

Responsible for all operations of two branch locations in the Upstate NY territory. Managed 20 people in the areas of sales, marketing, and warehouse operations. Responsibilities included: sales forecasting/budgeting, customer/supplier relationship management, sales budget attainment, staffing/recruiting, Profit & Liability management, and facilities management. Increased Pre-Tax profit from 1.3% in September 98 to 6.9% in May 99. Decreased selling expenses from $128k/month to $103k/month. Increased sales 20% year over year at more than 20% GP.

Responsible for all marketing and selling activities relating to Mass Storage devices in the Northeast Region encompassing 9 branch locations. Responsibilities included budget development and attainment, sales training presentations, and joint customer calls with Account Managers. Increased Mass Storage revenues by more than 100%.
