As a Store Manager at GNC I was responsible for three main aspects of the job: Sales, Operations and Store Standards. From June 2013 to February 2014 I was the manager of a lower volume GNC. After thriving in all three of the major aspects of the job, especially sales, I was promoted to one of the highest volume stores in the Charlotte Market. I Have continued to excel at: controlling shrink, I have continued to be successful at lowering the annual shrink, increasing annual sales, outstanding customer service, I have been named a top manager in customer service, and hiring and training sales associates.

Full-Time PositionAssist the Store Manager in the daily operation of the store and assume responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager. Selling merchandise to customers by following specific sales procedures specified by GNC and ensuring excellent customer service.Selling specific merchandise in order to meet mandatory sales expectations and to help with different sales drives while keeping all customers happy and coming back.Assisting the Store Manger in the training of all Sales Associates hired. Responsible for the overall appearance and organization of the store at all times.Assisting the Store Manager in adhering to all GNC's policies for stock rotation, infestation control, outside inspections, and all maintenance problems. Receiving and checking in all shipments. Between 50 and 150 cases.Assisting the store manager in the ordering or specific products and supplies.Assist the Store Manager in all merchandising updates and insure completion in a timely manner.Performing all register operations. Ability to complete all daily register and store open/close functions and bank deposits according to GNC policies and procedures, as required by the store manager

Part-time position.Responsible for working in GNC store when scheduled.Learning about nutrients and all of the supplements sold at GNC in order to help customers find what they are looking for and also to recommend products that will help customers reach their health goals.Responsible for selling specific products in order to meet mandatory sales expectations while keeping all customers happy and coming back.Performing all register operations. Ability to complete all daily register and store open/close functions and bank deposits according to GNC policies and procedures, as required by the store manager.Receiving and completing all shipments sent to GNC during scheduled hours. Usually between 50 and 150 cases.Keeping the store clean and organized at all times. Responsible for the overall presentation of the store while working. Mopping, dusting, sweeping, blocking and facing all products.Assisting management with any merchandising updates that need to be completed in a timely manner. Completing Plan-o-grams.Completing discounted pricing on all close dated products.
