I'm a Business and Construction Law Attorney at Trenam Law with over 25 years of experience. Board Certified in Construction Law in Florida and a Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator, I handle complex business litigation and mediations. An active member of the American Bar Association's Forum on Construction Law, I have served as a member of the Governing Committee and past chair of the Forum's Division on Insurance, Surety & Liens.I represent business owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, manufacturers and suppliers in all phases of contract negotiation, dispute resolution and litigation. Prior to joining Trenam in 2000, I served as both a federal prosecutor (Special Assistant United States Attorney) and a Trial Defense Counsel for the United States Army Judge Advocate General's ("JAG") Corps. I was honorably discharged from military service at the rank of Major. A co-author of the Florida Chapter of the "Fifty State Lien and Bond Law Manual" published by Aspen Publishers, I am a frequent speaker on emerging construction industry legal trends and guest lecturer at the University of South Florida.
