As an independent professional I worked for several institutions and private individuals teaching English. I taught adults groups at 'Click & Do', adolescent groups at 'Schiller International School' and a number of private students in the teenage, 9-12 and adult age ranges. I also taught business groups on site at their own office buildings. I taught all levels from absolute beginner to advanced and was responsible for designing my own classes and preparing students for examination.

Working in Spain with colleagues from more than twenty different nations taught me cultural sensitivity. The role demanded teamwork and problem solving as our team enjoyed a wide degree of autonomy in approach to our responsibilities. I also led two successful communications improvement projects during this time.
