I started with Con Edison in February 2007 as a bilingual spanish Customer Service Representative, soon after I further developed my leadership skills by coaching new employees on an individual basis and in group settings. I was soon recruited into a specialized emergency group in 2008, became the team captain and also trained new members to the group. Being on the specialized emergency group allowed me to fine tune my skills and move forward with my Con Edison career where I accepted a management position at the very same Call Center in 2011 subsequently managing the very same emergency group. Since then I have been a part of several committees and have continued to receive formal company awards for my contributions in teamwork, positivity and process improvements. I am currently a Senior Specialist as of 2017 for one our multiple call centers as well as a facilitator for a successful leadership & development program called the R.I.S.E. Academy since 2012. Responsibilty - Initiative - Success - Excellence is the program's focus and I am looking forward to continually impacting others and guiding them towards a positive life journey and career success.As of Oct 2018 I am part of the executive board for Con Edison's 1st Hispanic Employee Resource Group, CLARO and transitioned into our Office of Diversity & Inclusion as of July 2020.
