I am a third-year medical student with a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Arizona State University and a Master of Medical Studies from the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. My passion for anesthesiology is deeply connected to my commitment to improving patient care, with a focus on the social determinants of health and health policy reform.As a US Navy veteran, I developed leadership skills and a commitment to service that have defined my personal and professional journey. I have dedicated my life to serving others and am also an active member of the Student National Medical Association (SNMA), where I hold the position of Associate Regional Director. In this role, I advocate for the advancement of underrepresented minority students and am committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in the healthcare field.In addition to my medical studies and leadership roles, I mentor URM students and work to bridge gaps in healthcare access, ensuring better outcomes for underserved communities.
