Primary responsibilities included supporting 135 users, managing all assets (total count at acquisition=600 managed in Microsoft Access) Dell laptops, workstations, monitors, servers, phone systems, printers, projectors, Cisco switches/PIX 515e and badge access systems. Day to day duties included ghosting new user systems, diagnosing user issues, data recovery, network troubleshooting, and hardware / software procurement.

Managed an independent startup technical consulting company supporting corporate and independent realtor offices, website creation and maintenance, network upgrades, VIOP phone system installs, site infrastructure upgrades, and site expansions (installing phone, CAT6 cables and patch panels). Our store also handled walk-in customers needing hardware repair, data recovery to include single system drives to RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10 arrays for an overall 87% successful data recovery jobs. Contract Manager for CGS at IBM in Atlanta, GeorgiaIBM contracted CGS to create a new call center to handle all of IBM’s PC and laptop phone support call. All metrics were aggressively set and the call center saved IBM $8 million in the first three months of operation, streamlined processes which increased savings of another $500,000 while managing 110 technicians, performing specialized training classes during off peak hours and maintained less than 2% attrition. Following year call volume increased 40% simultaneously receiving metrics increase of 5%. During those two years as SDM, IBM was rated highest technical customer support measured by PC World.
