Parentz provides activity inspiration for busy families. I joined the Parentz team with the goal of aiding in the realization and execution of their product strategy. Because this solution is targeted at multi-generational users, it provides a unique set of challenges in terms of not only product strategy but technical implementation. The resulting product is one I am very proud of, resonating extremely well with parents and providing a sleek, streamlined and intuitive experience.

While working with 8th Kind, I lead the charge in developing and engineering the next generation of their mobile product experience on iOS. The result was an intuitive and responsive application delivered to market in under 2 and a half weeks. It shipped without issue (Critical or minor) and has gone on to garner nearly 400 4-Star reviews across the globe.The app has received 5 minor releases in the weeks since its launch which have further enhanced its usability and performance. It also holds the unique accolade of being one of the smallest fully featured apps on the App Store (Important as it drives user adoption by removing friction in terms of initial on-boarding).My time working with 8th Kind was an absolute pleasure and I look forward to doing business with them in the future. During my time at the helm of GRAMMA, I lead the engineering / product team and plotted the course of our product roadmap. I also chartered the organisation’s long term business strategy and product vision.My responsibilities included:- Delivering products within scope and on time.- Implementing an Agile product development process which made heavy use of Scrum.- Establishing a framework using business KPIs and user data in order to accurately inform our metrics-driven decision making process.- Architecting and leading the development of the core recommendation engine, technology infrastructure and underlying IP.- Construction of our Lazarus data-set’s and data enrichment suites.- Dev-Ops and infrastructure support to ensure the team where ready for any real-world load or issue. - Rapid prototyping and development of our mobile product suite.- Day to day business operations, investor relations etc.More on GRAMMA:GRAMMA was the world's first reactive radio service. After a brief internship at MTT (Now Travelport Digital), I was offered a permanent position and moved to the backend engineering team for their most esteemed and prestigious portfolio clients. My primary focus was mobile integration with the primary aim of fostering innovative concepts within both my team and the organisation as a whole.

After joining Odenberg in 2007 (Now Tomra Food) I quickly began work on cutting-edge R&D for their next generation user interface platforms. The results of this process went on to play a key role in the underlying software deployment strategy and saw wide spread use in their range of optical sorting equipment.
