- Led the RF IC system architecture of the next 60 GHz wireless generation at 20+Gbps- Led the mmW antenna team. Increased SoC antenna gain by a significant 3dBi with same 1mm2 area. - Defined and deployed two 45-90 GHz RF/mm-wave laboratories to validate and test RF SoCs products more accurately & efficiently. Test capabilities include 3D millimeter-wave far field testing, transmit & receive with custom 60GHz sockets (near field), RF PVT, calibration and material properties characterization. Defined and implemented a battery of automated tests for them.- Designed & built a wideband mm-wave generator to cover 50 - 75GHz with 25 GHz signal bandwidth. Tested and calibrated to +/-0.2dB flatness over 20GHz with >60dBc purity. Tremendously increased efficiency and accuracy for SoCs receive qualifications.- Deep collaboration with the IC design team.- Managed the Intellectual Property and led the effort to create 3 patents in antenna and new SoC functions. - Investigated innovative mm-wave concepts at the system level: New antennas & processes, new packaging and materials, new test sockets and advanced radio concepts to push more data with low power at very high speed.

- Generated new ideas on positioning accuracy and automatic system calibration. Specified antennas to improve localization. Created a number of tests to validate the system.

"Kiss old connectors goodbye" Leading the development of next gen 60GHz RF system architecture: System architecture, frequency allocation, link budget, design specification, solution roadmap, designing new concepts & interacting with circuit level IC design. Developed the EHF TX/RX system level architecture for the next gen. chipset.  Working closely with VP IC, CTO, and next generation team including multiple technical presentations to the top management, colleagues and to the board of technical advisers.  Creating disruptive IP, patents and technologies: Invented/co-invented a dozen of inventions.
