The Warren County corrugated packaging facility annually produced more than 1.4 billion sq-ft, running a three-shift operation (100 hourly mfg. & 30 salaried employees). As General Manager, the position reported to the Regional General Manager and had full P&L responsibility inclusive of sales, admin, and manufacturing.

Manage all aspects of a 3-shift manufacturing location (15 salaried, 85 hourly employees), including production, engineering/maintenance and quality.Manage all direct manufacturing cost (P&L); all labor, all variable mfg. cost, $1.5 MM annual maintenance budget.Responsible for development of annual Capital Budget, from submission through justification, as well as follow-up of actual verses anticipated ROI on Profit and Growth projects. Successfully manage significant capital projects ranging from $250K to $3.5M, on time and under budget.Successfully manage a safe work place (ranked in top 3% among peer plants; 3-year TIR under 1.0), while running cultural equipment to design levels with high quality output.Lead packaging division in production performance on key machine center (EVOL); ranked 1 of 21 machines, achieving the highest run rate in 2009. As a member of the facility's management team, along with the general manager and the plant sales manager, develop and execute an annual operations business plan to meet or exceed the company's objectives. Direct customer involvement including celebrating joint successes, value discovery, as well as troubleshooting customer problems and or complaints as needed.
