I am a full time software developer. Most recently I have been developing end-user software for OCT laser scanning of biological specimens. The software I developed included real-time processing of the swept-source OCT signal using high speed digitizers (250-800MHz) on Xilinx FPGA hardware, programmed in NI LabVIEW. The FPGA processing pipeline included use of Xilinx cores such as FFT, FIR, and CORDIC. In addition, I implemented a linear interpolator that resampled the OCT photodiode signal against data from the MZI (Mach-Zehnder Interferometer), using parallel cores that allowed the processing to keep up with the acquisition. I also wrote end-user software in LabVIEW and Python for control and display of images and vibrometry data. I have produced a 3D visualization and animation of the chicken cochlea using Blender ( a 3D modelling tool), and used a Python script to animate the model based off experimental data.I have made OCT vibration and image data accessible through a web interface, using HTML, PHP and Javascript.
