With more than 11 years of professional software development experience in web applications for companies such as Duke Energy, SalesLoft and Cisco, my focus over the last few years has been creating web applications with an amazing user experience using Angular 16, Python, Ruby on Rails and AWS. I consider myself a full stack developer and am proficient in front-end and back-end technologies.Currently, I am a Senior Software Engineer at Duke Energy. Some of my skills include Python, C# .NET, Ruby on Rails, AWS, Azure DevOps, JavaScript, Angular, Docker, TypeScript HTML5, CSS/Less/SCSS, Angular Material, Node.js, REST/WebAPI, SQL and relational databases among others. I have been responsible for the redesign and coding of the web application from scratch, bringing the team up to speed on Agile methodologies, enforcing modern coding standards, naming conventions, and designing the architecture of the Web APIs.Besides taking pride in my work, I can be described as fun, personable and extremely easy going. I have a great work ethic, but most importantly, I won't pass up going to lunch with the group or hanging out after work. I thrive in work environments that value the work/life balance, and, because of that, I work diligently at any task or job that is given to me and I'll go above and beyond to deliver high quality applications.I received my BS in Computer Science from East Carolina University.
