Quickly familiarized myself with the SAP-IS/U module as well as the booming energy sector (deregulation of the Belgian market) in order to be able to analyse and implement in a very near future typical processes like new connection, customers and/or suppliers switch, “budgetmeter” installation, periodic meter reading plan for a social supplier of electricity & gas in Flanders.

Heavily involved in initial design and lots of implementations of Mfg/Pro Advanced Inventory Management (AIM) module as expert consultant in logistics on several international (Europe, US, Canada, Brazil, Australia) projects. Improved Mfg/Pro’s inventory management module by developing an RF-based solution and proposing a closer inventory control in order to increase warehouse efficiency. Helped mapping out processes (receipt, picking, transfer, inspection, cross-docking, replenishment, inventory & labour management ) and adapting working methodology particularly to warehouses that have not had a WMS (Warehouse Management System) before. Phase I - Achieved over 6,000 borings localization for a ground chemical consolidation on the site of the extension of a subway tunnel. Numerous contacts and meetings with power, gas, telephone and water distribution companies to assist me locating their pipes to prevent any damage during the works. Organized, planned and controlled tasks of 3 shifts (approx. 100 workers) on a daily basis.Phase II - Managed a 15 men team by making sure we stayed within time & budget planning, including regular meetings with general contractor and subcontractors, dealing with all kind of day-to-day problems (work quality, site security, unions, sickness )
