Lead Developer
CurrentAs the sole software designer and developer for company, I spearhead design, testing, implementation and maintenance of ThriftOS Point of Sale Suite. I develop local, store level, and corporate database schema and administrate database structure, I manage user support, address bug fixes, test and debug source code, feature requests, and procedural changes. I develop database structure, tables, stored procedures, and user-defined functions using SQL SQL2008 R2 to SQL Server 2014; I incorporate changes to reduce vulnerabilities identified by Veracode team.pull and analyze database performance reports, write queries, back up and restore databases. I collaborate with teams at Heartland Payment Systems (HPS), Equinox Payment Systems, and 403 Labs. I build, program, test, and implement customized form decks or projects through Equinox Payment Systems, including debit key injection, Voltage and NFC; I ensure adherence to PCI 2.0.Manage QA processes through 403 Labs team to test for vulnerabilities. I also collaborate with our IT Manager and Customer Support Tech to troubleshoot system issues and identify trends in bugs at the 21 supported stores, and I write all documentation as it pertains to software functionality; integrated EMV into payment system.In this role, I have designed 4 software products from invitation through completion, managing layout, GUI design, classes, and all other code; incorporated feedback from clients to ensure products met specifications. I have developed software located in 27 stores coast-to-coast and operational on over 400 machines. I wrote and developed all queries, stored procedures, and user defined functions, and I've created 30+ reports utilized through back office application using SSRS.I ensured certification of ThriftOS v4.0 through the PCI Council for PA-DSS, and I integrated customer loyalty mobile app into point of sale system through collaboration with third party mobile application and social media advertisements.
