Worked collaboratively with various technical, financial and project management staff to evaluate wind energy projects in development, and propose their optimal technical solutions.

Participated in a multi-disciplinary training program at a world leader in the renewable energy industry. In the first rotation I served for 6 months as the owner's representative Project Engineer of a 161 MW wind farm under construction in West Texas. The second 6 months were spent in Operations and Maintenance business development analyzing and reporting on new market opportunities, and establishing a database to track relationships, deals, and opportunities. The 3rd rotation was spent facilitating execution of and compliance with Transmission and Interconnection Agreements of renewable energy projects in ERCOT and the Southwest Power Pool. In my 4th and final rotation, I was the late-stage development and implementation project manager of a 1 MW, distributed generation solar project in Marin County, CA, which is now online. The Rotational Training Program was a working education that provided mentoring by an experienced cadre of professionals, and helped me develop a variety of skills and knowledge. It was a great experience.

Managed more meteorological stations than you can shake a stick at. Even if it's a precisely calibrated, thoroughly documented, well-maintained, fully-functioning, structurally sound, permitting and regulatory compliant, on-time, under-budget stick.

Worked with an amazing group of volunteers to improve utility infrastructure in a southern Indian community, which has taken ownership of a fully sustainable, solar powered, Reverse Osmosis water treatment plant that we helped design and build. 1500 people a day purchase water from the facility, and 3 community residents have full-time jobs operating it. Performed all aspects of meteorological tower construction, maintenance, and management, including: construction management, procurement, field engineering, safety supervision, climbing inspections, instrumentation, logistics, measurement system design, tower design, instrument mounting design, electronics design, process design, electronics assembly, data collection, data analysis, accounting, contractor selection inventory control, training personnel in both field and office, and troubleshooting of electronics, mounting, and sensors.
