As the CM for the LNGC Project I was responsible for the execution of the Early Works and Infrastructure Scopes that was under a Lump Sum Contract with LNG Canada. This included but not limited to Environment Habitat Offsets, Site Prep, Heavy Haul Roads/ Bridges, Piling, Foundations/ Paving, Underground Piping and Electrical (Self-Perform), Trestle, LNG Tank and the Non-Process Buildings

As the CM for the South Louisiana Methanol Project, I was responsible for the development and implementation of the scope of work for the Construction Phase of the Project. Based in our Sugarland Office I also had the responsibility of constructability input in the design phase of our Project to insure what we were designing could be constructed in the safest and most effective manner. While on the SLM Project I also supported a number of Proposal effort to include LyondellBasell PHD Facility and the Novus Newton Project where I helped compile the indirect budgets, Path of Construction and the method of construction (stick built or modulization).

As the Site Manager at the LyondellBasell for the Channelview Project I was responsible for the construction of the Temporary Facilities up to the installation of piling on Site. Based in our Sugarland Office I also had the responsibility of constructability input in the design phase of our Project to insure what we were designing could be constructed in the safest and effective manner. The other areas of support in the Home Office, was to support Engineering and Contracts in scope of work development for the numerus subcontracts that we required for the Project. In the area of Procurement we worked with the various teams to see what would make sense to move out of the field and into vendor shops to allow for work to be conducted in a more controlled environment and reduce exposure hour in the field

As Construction Director at Fort Hill Utilities and Offsites for Fluor I was responsible for controlling and providing input into the project schedule and cost/budget through the efficient use of construction resources including manpower, materials, tools, and equipment. Established and maintained short range planning communication, providing reviews on design scope and approach. Providing constructability input as well as identifying any potential scope changes or gaps in order to support the Fluor Change Impact Assessment program. Management, supervision and coordination of self-performed and contract managed work. Took the responsibility of optimizing manpower levels to safely and efficiently execute the work to achieve schedule milestones. Key participant in business development activities and promoting a professional and business relationship with the Client

As the Facilities & Tanks Area Construction Manager, my main responsibilities include but are not limited to the oversight of the safe execution of all construction activities, schedule, cost, and resource allocation for this contract. Facilities are comprised of six separate work locations which are: Screening Plant & Process Water, MLSB (Recycle Water) Pump House, Trim Heater, Chemical Injection, 3rd Stage (Hydro Transport) Pump House, and Caustic Plant. Tanks are comprised of two locations; which are: Process Water – 3,170,000 gallon hot water tank and Caustic tank – 193,000 gallon. To date, the facilities contractor, the tanks contractor and multiple sub-contractors have successfully mobilized and/or demobilized, commenced and continue construction execution to a high safety and quality standard while mitigating all construction obstacles, schedule impediments and clients requests for changes and additional scope. Currently maintain project required progress reporting, communicating updates to the Construction Director and Client, while streamlining interfaces with all other project contractors to prevent schedule delays for Facilities and the project. Positively developed relationships with the client and the contractor, allowing the Facilities group to integrate with the ongoing commissioning group to achieve schedule expectations and demobilization requirements. When called upon, the ‘delegation of authority’ has been an honored responsibility requested by the Project Construction Director’s when absent from site.

The Interface Coordinator role allowed a smooth transition away from a client liaison to Fluor Area Construction Manager utilizing the valuable relationships previously established. The K003 Early Works – Civil and K004 – Crusher Retaining Wall contracts within the MLMR project is an approximate value of $1,100,000,000. As the Area Construction Manager, my main responsibilities included but were not limited to the oversight of the safe execution of all construction activities, schedule, cost, and resource allocation for this contract.
