I served in many Head Start classrooms developing proactive and reactive measures to help parents and teachers identify and modify behaviors of children to help them develop healthy coping skills and overall wellness. -

In this position I assisted four adult clients living in an extensive services needed ESN home. These homes were designed to transition those in state hospitals back into society. In order to accomplish this task, we worked on ADLs and set goals/objectives to work towards a more independent life. The clients were assisted with medication administration and with behavioral modification training. While with ResCase I participated in “ResCare on Call”. This program consisted of volunteers who would travel to areas effected by natural or other disasters as declared by FEMA. When on site we would assist those with disabilities mental and/or physical as well as those with mental illness. While on call we participated in assistance in NY following Hurricane Sandy.
